Hello,
I've learned about already-funded Iron Horse trail overcrossing at Dublin Blvd. As a regular user of the trail (running, biking), I do understand city's rationale for having one. However, I feel that building a bridge would only be a half of solution, as there is equally problematic trail intersection with Dougherty Rd. This makes investment in a bridge wasteful in a sense that it wouldn't solve trail users inconveniences (wait time, crossing safety). Also, Dougherty Rd crossing is more problematic due to lack of middle lane separator (which could be used as safety zone by pedestrians).
I'm not sure if there is a projected improvement in Dublin Blvd car traffic, but do have a hunch it would be small due to short duration of pedestrian walk light.
