I bike eastward from West Dublin several times a week. When I want to cross San Ramon Valley Boulevard to go east on Amador V. B., on my bike in the street I can’t trigger the traffic light to turn green for me if no cars are going the same way. I have to use the crosswalk, but then I am on the wrong side of Amador to continue unless I either ride the sidewalk or have to cross Amador to get in the south-side bike lane.
I find that if I approach the straight ahead lane and ride on the arrow, stopping on the tip of the arrow, it triggers the light.
