Walking:
At intersections along Dublin Blvd., why not automate pedestrian signals so they turn green w/o needing to press the walk button for the duration when the thru-traffic signal at that intersection is green for automobile traffic?
I moved here from another city where as long as you're walking along a main street/road, you will almost always encounter green/walk light when walking across side-streets. This way PEDs only have to watch for right turning traffic when walking along Dublin Blvd. And for left turning traffic, there are separate signals for left turn turns along Dublin Blvd. so the pedestrian lights can stay off while the left turn light is green. This will allow fast PEDs to cross the road without needing to stop all crossing automobile traffic for 30s or more. This should help improve efficiency as one walker/runner/bicyclist running along Dublin Blvd. won't require a signal change at every intersection when crossing side streets.
